Companies The website addresses listed below are for twelve large companies that have major emphasis on natural gas. These companies are extracted from the list of 200 companies prepared by the Oil and Gas Journal (published October 1, 2001). All twelve companies drilled more than 10 wells during the year 2000 and their US gas production greatly exceeds their oil production. Although many are not onshore and although most are preoccupied with deep gas, these guys are gas companies. The list below is ranked on the ratio of gas to oil production. All have gas production that is at least 10 times their oil production. Obviously, only companies that have websites are included. Many companies with high gas/oil production ratios do not have websites. Most of the sites listed here have more information for investors than for geologists, but at least the basic information on the company is presented.
